Our courses are desinged to help practitioiners develop their practice in line with legislation, best practice and ethics

LEVEL ONE:

Ethics, Law, and Keeping Children’s Digital Data Safe. Preventing online harm through your professional role.
This training covers DPA 2018 (GDPR), privacy laws and Cybersecurity. This is for anyone who wishes to work online with children and young people, or processes data using a smartphone, computer, recorder or paper notes!
The course covers how to protect yourself and your information so that you can defend that of your customer, client or patient. Technical knowledge is NOT required, but a willingness to learn how to be safe with technology to prevent breaches, exposure or harm to children’s information. This follows the book (and more) due out later this year with Routledge Publishing

LEVEL 2

Using Technology safely, ethically and responsibly
This course is designed for advanced practitioners only after completing the level one ethics, law and data protection course (above). The day will include neuro-rights, data and surveillance. Good cybersecurity practice and use/misuse of data and the law.

Consultations may also be requested for practitioners already using technology to establish good hygiene practices.
